Dr. Jack Liu is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. He started his undergraduate training at Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in NYC. He then earned his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his combined residency program for both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During his residency, he was awarded Intern of the Year (2003), Teaching Resident of the Year (2007), and served as Chief Resident during his final year. He's had 10 years of clinical experience in the emergency department.
Dr. Liu lives in Queens with his wife and daughter. Their family is about to grow as they are expecting their next addition in September this year.
Dr. Liu is an adrenaline junkie. He enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include surfing, snowboarding, rock-climbing, motorcycling, swimming, biking and participating in triathlons.
